This Privacy Policy explains how aiMATHS ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use aimaths.ie. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Irish data protection law.

Who we are

aiMATHS is a maths practice service for Leaving Certificate and Junior Certificate students. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at aimaths2026@gmail.com.

What data we collect

• Email address — used to log you in (via a one-time code) and to identify your account.
• Login activity — the dates and times you log in, used to operate and secure the service.
• Payment information — when you purchase access, your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store or see your card details; Stripe handles these directly. We receive confirmation that a payment was made and the email associated with it.
• Usage data — anonymous, aggregate information about how the site is used, collected via Google Analytics (for example, pages visited and general location by country).

How we use your data

• To create and manage your account and log you in.
• To provide access to the service after payment.
• To operate, maintain, and secure the service (including detecting misuse).
• To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.

Legal basis

We process your email and login data on the basis of performance of a contract (providing the service you signed up for) and our legitimate interests in securing and improving the service. Analytics data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests in understanding site usage.

Who we share data with

We use trusted third-party service providers to run aiMATHS. These providers process data on our behalf:

• Supabase — stores your account email and login records (hosted in the EU).
• Stripe — processes payments securely.
• Resend — sends login and account emails.
• Railway — hosts the application.
• Google Analytics — provides anonymous, aggregate usage statistics.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

How long we keep your data

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove your personal data, except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, payment records for tax or legal purposes).

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and restricted access to our systems. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Children

aiMATHS is intended for students preparing for State examinations. If you are under 16, please ensure a parent or guardian is aware of and consents to your use of the service.
